I’m rebuilding a lean, operator-driven real estate business in Detroit and I’m hiring an Operations Manager to work directly with me. This is not a VA role and not a sales position. It’s an owner-adjacent role focused on execution, coordination, and follow-through. What you own • Transaction coordination (contracts, contingencies, closings) • Rehab operations admin (contractors, schedules, inspections, utilities) • Property management and city / Section 8 compliance • Invoices, draw packets, and bookkeeping coordination • Systems accuracy (Buildertrend, Asana, Pipedrive, Drive Once a task is assigned, you own it end-to-end and close the loop. The work I operate almost exclusively in the city of Detroit, focused on distressed, low-income housing across SFR, small MF, and apartments. The work is real, sometimes messy, and requires follow-through with vendors, inspectors, utilities, and city offices.
