About the Role The Asset Manager will oversee the financial and operational performance of a growing portfolio of multifamily assets. This individual will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including property management, finance, and acquisitions, to execute business plans and maximize returns. This role requires strong financial and analytical skills, a deep understanding of asset-level operations, and the ability to communicate insights clearly to senior leadership and investors. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced, data-driven environment. Key Responsibilities Support oversight of a regional multifamily portfolio, ensuring properties meet or exceed financial and operational performance goals. Monitor property financials, operating statements, rent rolls, and budget-to-actual variance reports. Develop and maintain financial models and dashboards to forecast performance, assess ROI, and inform decision-making. Collaborate with property management teams to drive NOI growth through revenue optimization, expense control, and capital project execution. Conduct site visits, review leasing performance, and identify value-add opportunities to improve asset efficiency and profitability. Participate in monthly and quarterly performance reviews, presenting financial and operational insights to senior executives. Support underwriting and due diligence for acquisitions, assisting in integration and stabilization post-closing. Partner with accounting and finance teams on cash flow forecasting, capital planning, and lender reporting. Prepare investment summaries and contribute to investor reporting and portfolio updates. Qualifications & Experience Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Real Estate, Business, Economics, or a related field. 3–5 years of experience in multifamily asset management, real estate finance, or investment analysis. Strong financial acumen with advanced proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, sensitivity analysis, IRR, DCF modeling). Exceptional analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to interpret and communicate complex financial data. Solid understanding of property operations, capital planning, and performance optimization. Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage confidently with leadership and partners. Organized, self-motivated, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Willingness to travel for property visits and portfolio reviews (approximately 1–2 times per month). Experience with Yardi, RealPage, or similar property management systems preferred.
