Description Highly motivated Data Analyst serving as the analytical engine for the Independent Dispute Resolution (IDR) operations. This position will be the primary bridge between technology and business teams, transforming complex operational data into clear, actionable insights. Collaborating closely with the Database Administrator (DBA) will develop Power BI reports and dashboards that illuminate performance, enhance efficiency, and guide strategic decisions. This position focuses on data visualization and analysis rather than data engineering with the ability to translate business needs into technical requirements which is critical to IDR operations success. Requirements Key Responsibilities: Insight Generation & Visualization: Design, build, and maintain mission-critical operational reports and interactive Power BI dashboards to provide the IDR team with real-time visibility into workflows, quality metrics, and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) Conduct ad hoc analysis to investigate trends, answer urgent business questions, and provide data-driven recommendations for operational improvements Business Partnership & Requirements Translation: Function as the primary data liaison for the IDR team with active participation in the end-to-end processes for an in-depth understanding of operational challenges and data requirements Translate business needs into clear data specifications for the Database Administrator, ensuring reporting solutions are built on a foundation of accurate and relevant data Data Integrity & Storytelling: Uphold the highest standards of data accuracy by performing rigorous data validation and quality assurance checks on all reporting outputs Clearly and effectively communicate complex findings and data-driven narratives to diverse audiences, from front-line IDR staff to executive leadership Qualifications & Skills: Required: Bachelor’s degree in data Analytics, Business Administration, Information Systems, Statistics, or a related field 3+ years of dedicated experience in a Data Analyst, Business Intelligence Analyst, or similar role Strong proficiency in Microsoft Power BI, including creating complex reports and dashboards, publishing and managing workspaces, and writing advanced DAX formulas Strong MS SQL skills for querying and extracting data from relational databases Proven ability to translate complex business processes and stakeholder needs into clear, actionable data requirements Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a talent for data storytelling and presenting insights to both technical and non-technical audiences A meticulous, detail-oriented mindset with an unwavering commitment to data accuracy A proactive, bias-for-action problem-solver who can work independently and take ownership of projects Preferred: Experience in the healthcare, legal, compliance, or dispute resolution industries Familiarity with data governance principles and best practices Experience with other data visualization or direct query tools (e.g., Tableau, Qlik, ThoughtSpot) Position Demands: This position requires sitting, bending, and stooping for up to 8 hours per day in an office setting. Ability to lift and move objects weighing up to 10 lbs. Ability to learn technical material. The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc. Must be able to operate a computer and other office productivity machinery such as a calculator, copy machine, printer, etc. The person in this position frequently communicates with guests, team members, and vendors and must be able to exchange accurate information.
