Design and execute comprehensive test plans and automated test scripts to ensure software quality in an Agile environment.
Senior QA engineer with expertise in test automation frameworks, Agile practices, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Proof is the world's first identity-assured transaction management platform and we are on a mission to digitize trust for all of life’s most critical transactions. Developed by the same market leaders and experts who brought notarization online with Notarize℠, Proof offers trust in a digital world by verifying identities and securing transactions to protect businesses and their customers. Since 2015, we’ve completed many of the world’s first digital commerce transactions, including the first online real estate closing, online mortgage closing, online auto sale, and online will and we're still just getting started! What you'll do: Agile Sprint Support: Actively participate in weekly sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and sprint reviews to provide QA insights and ensure testing activities are integrated into the development process. Test Strategy, Planning, and Execution: Develop andmaintain comprehensive test strategies, test plans, and execute test cases for new features and enhancements, ensuring full coverage of functional and non-functional requirements. Test Automation: Design, implement, and maintain scalable automated test frameworks and scripts using industry-standard tools (e.g., Selenium, WebdriverIO, Playwright) to increase testing efficiency and reliability. Backward Compatibility & Cross-Deployment Testing: Ensure software updates are compatible with previous versions and functionality remains consistent across various deployments. Browser Compatibility Testing: Verify that the software functions correctly and provides a consistent user experience across different web browsers (e.g., Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge) and their various versions. Regression Testing: Lead and execute release regression testing cycles to ensure that new code changes do not adversely affect existing functionality across different platforms and environments. Integration Testing: Evaluate the interactions introduced when combinations of prominently used features in production are used simultaneously during customer workflows. Performance, Scale & Security Testing: Perform performance, scale, load, and security testing to identify potential bottlenecks and vulnerabilities. Defect Management: Identify, document, and track software defects using bug-tracking systems (e.g., Jira). Collaborate with developers to reproduce and resolve issues promptly. Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD): Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline to enable rapid and reliable software releases. Quality Metrics & Reporting: Define and track key quality metrics, providing regular reports on test execution progress, defect density, and overall product quality to stakeholders. Mentorship & Collaboration: Provide guidance and mentorship, promote best practices, and foster a culture of learning and continuous improvement across the team.
