Job Summary We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Senior Financial Analyst to join our FP&A team. This role will support company-wide financial planning, forecasting, and performance analysis while also serving as a key contributor to our M&A and growth initiatives. The Senior Financial Analyst will partner closely with FP&A leadership, Accounting, and cross-functional stakeholders to deliver actionable insights that inform strategic decision-making. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who enjoys building models, digging into drivers, and supporting both ongoing operations and transaction-related work in a fast-paced, PE-backed environment. Key Responsibilities Financial Planning & Analysis Support the annual budgeting process and monthly/quarterly forecasting cycles, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and alignment with strategic priorities Build and maintain detailed financial models to analyze revenue trends, margins, operating expenses, and cash flow Prepare variance analyses and performance reporting versus budget, forecast, and prior periods, highlighting key drivers and risks Partner with business leaders to understand operational metrics and translate them into financial insights M&A and Strategic Growth Support Support financial due diligence for acquisitions, including data analysis, quality of earnings support, and operational metric validation Build and maintain acquisition and investment models, including purchase accounting inputs, synergies, and return analyses Assist with post-acquisition integration planning, including financial reporting alignment, forecasting, and synergy tracking Support de novo growth initiatives and special projects related to market expansion or new service offerings Process Improvement & Systems Help improve FP&A processes, models, and reporting tools to support scalability and data accuracy Work closely with Accounting to ensure consistency between actuals, forecasts, and long-range plans Leverage financial systems and BI tools to enhance reporting and analytical capabilities Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Data teams to design and source platform data to support business analytics Qualifications 5+ years of progressive experience in FP&A, corporate finance, investment banking, consulting, or related roles B.S. / B.A. in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Engineering Strong financial modeling, forecasting, and analytical skills with a high attention to detail Experience supporting M&A, strategic initiatives, or transaction-related analysis preferred Strong Excel skills and comfort working with large datasets; experience with BI tools and SQLa plus Ability to communicate complex financial concepts clearly to both finance and non-finance stakeholders Experience in services, tech-enabled services, or PE-backed environments strongly preferred Compensation & Benefits Full-time, hybrid role Annual Salary range $90,000 to $105,000 based on experience and location Eligible to participate in company bonus program Medical, dental, vision, disability insurance, and 401(k) available Flexible time off (paid planned and sick time, and paid holidays) Locations This is a hybrid role in one of these locations: Richmond, VA New Orleans, LA E-Verify This company participates in E-Verify, for more information view the Participation and Right to Work Posters.
