Candidates must have at least 6 years of sales experience in the spirits sector and a background in hospitality or beverage alcohol. An associate degree is required, with a preference for a bachelor's degree, and candidates must be 21 years or older.
Territory Manager - DFW/North Texas Job Type: Fulltime Location: DFW Metro Start Date: ASAP Position Summary: Our clientis looking for a motivated individual to fulfill a fulltime position in the DFW region. Ideal candidate would have 5 years plus experience in the liquor industry, specifically in liquor distribution, sales, and brand building. Ideal candidate would have strong relationships with SGWS distributor team, retailers, and hospitality groups. This role will require to work some nights, weekends, and to travel to different markets from time to time to support company’s efforts. Some essential tasks will include but not limited to the following activities: Key Competencies & Responsibilities: Maintain current points of distribution and increase volume and presence at those accounts Represent the brand at retail tastings, on-premise events, and promotional activations, embodying the brand’s prestige, story, and lifestyle. Serve as a brand advocate by consistently communicating the heritage, craftsmanship, and premium qualities of the product. Prospect and introduce the brand to new on/off premise accounts to increase brand’s footprint and sales volume Build relationships with retailers to gain distribution, better shelf space, and create volume programs to increase sales Manage assigned territory budget, including in-store tastings, promotional materials, on-premise and event activations. Create strategic programs following brand guidance to increase sales volume at each account Achieve company goals on new points of distribution and case sales Assist in developing effective cocktail programs Engage and build strong relationships with distributor’s sales team and distributor’s management team. Execute regular trainings at On/Off - premise accounts Maintain excellent customer service Manage and maximize market budget to drive sales and achieve company’s goals Engage with local community participating on local brand building events Professional Experience/Qualifications: Associate degree required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred. Must be 21 years or older. 6+ years of demonstrated sales experience in the spirit’s sector. Background in hospitality, sales, ideally beverage alcohol Previous retail, on-premises, or off-premise work experience is a plus. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications Excel, Word, Power Point, Adobe; Working knowledge in CRM software platforms Reside in the assigned territory with reliable transportation – preference for a large vehicle. Possess a valid driver's license, registered and insured vehicle with a clean driving record and background check. Willingness to travel within the region. Physical ability to lift and move cases of product frequently, coupled with comfort in various tasks such as bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, climbing, kneeling, and stooping for arranging and displaying point of sale. Available to work some evenings and weekends as required for events and promotions.
