The Patient Account Analyst will assist patients with questions regarding hospital or physician bills, handle registration, billing, and collection inquiries. This role involves posting payments, adjustments, and denials to patient accounts and resolving any related questions.
A high school diploma or equivalent is required, along with at least 1 year of experience in medical registration, billing, customer service, or collections. This position is essential for enhancing the patient experience at ProMedica.
Location: Remote - Ohio Department: CBO Revenue Cycle Weekly Hours: 40 Status: Full time Shift: Days (United States of America) Job Summary: If a patient has questions about a hospital or physician bill at ProMedica, the Patient Account Analyst will be there to answer. You will contact patients about registration, billing and collection. You will post payments, adjustments and denials to patient accounts and resolve any questions. This position is key to enhancing the patient experience at ProMedica. The above summary is intended to describe the general nature and level of work performed in this role.
