Are you interested in working for a well-established company in the mould making industry? Do you have 1 (or more!) years of experience working as a labourer or maintenance personnel in an industrial environment? Apply here! OVERVIEW Projection Moulds Inc. is currently looking for a part-time general labourer/ maintenance person that would be responsible for housekeeping and general upkeep of Projection Moulds Inc. premises. You would be responsible for maintaining a standard of cleanliness in the shop while also maintaining equipment to ensure smooth operation of the shop. ACCOUNTABILITIES and RESPONSIBILITIES · Sweep and mop floors · Wipe down tables and outsides of machines · Organize drawers, shelves, and containers · Maintain the overall cleanliness of the shop · Spray weed killer in the back yard and front garden beds as required by season · Lubricate machines and filling of lubrication tanks · Test and adjust oil levels of coolant, adding coolant to CNC machines and grinders when needed · Clean machine enclosures · Replace leaky air fittings on machines and airlines · Troubleshoot simple problems and assist in repairing them · Report major repairs or problems to management · Build and reinforce shipping crates using hand tools · Package spare items and tools · Take pictures of incoming and Outgoing shipments · Assist coworkers with lifting furniture or other items around the shop · Assist in bringing in and storing supplies QUALIFICATIONS · High School Forklift license is preferred but not required 0-3 years of experience in an industrial environment · Proficient in the use of hand tools · Proficient in the use of material handling equipment · Proficient in cleaning and industrial hygiene practices You have the ability to: · Safely lift up to 50 lbs · Work independently and with others · Communicate effectively · Learn on the job The role is performed in an industrial environment.
