Project Manager — Natural Gas Transmission & Midstream Infrastructure Overview- Southeast Our client is seeking an experienced Project Manager to support the planning and delivery of natural gas transmission and midstream infrastructure projects. Responsibilities include managing pipeline initiatives from early feasibility and routing through permitting, construction support, and compliance activities. Projects may include interstate and intrastate pipelines, compressor stations, meter and regulator facilities, integrity programs, modernization efforts, and renewable natural gas infrastructure targeting the Southeastern United States. Key Responsibilities Project Delivery • Manage full project lifecycle including planning, permitting, execution, and closeout • Coordinate multidisciplinary teams across engineering, environmental, land, and construction • Develop and maintain integrated project schedules and budgets • Identify risks and drive proactive mitigation strategies Permitting & Regulatory Coordination • Develop permitting strategies under FERC, NEPA, and applicable state and local regulations • Support FERC Section 7(c) Certificate processes and regulatory filings • Manage NEPA environmental review pathways, agency coordination, and technical documentation Routing, Environmental & ROW Coordination • Lead pipeline routing studies including alternatives analysis and constraints evaluation • Oversee environmental field studies and impact analysis • Support Right-of-Way (ROW) acquisition strategy, landowner engagement, and survey access coordination • Ensure environmental compliance during pre-construction and construction including mitigation, monitoring, reporting, and contractor oversight Client & Business Development Support • Assist with proposals, scopes, schedules, and budgets • Participate in client meetings and industry engagement • Maintain relationships with pipeline operators, utilities, and project stakeholders Qualifications • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering, environmental science, planning, project management, or related field • 10+ years supporting natural gas transmission or midstream infrastructure projects • Strong understanding of FERC, NEPA, pipeline safety requirements, and environmental permitting • Experience managing full pipeline project lifecycle • Proficiency with project scheduling tools (MS Project, Smartsheet, etc.) • Strong leadership, organization, and communication skills • Ability to travel as needed Equal Opportunity Employer Our client is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
