Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Community Outreach / Business Development Manager to lead our efforts in building meaningful relationships within the community and expanding our business footprint. This role offers an exciting opportunity to drive strategic growth, foster partnerships, and elevate our brand presence through innovative outreach initiatives. The ideal candidate will be energetic, proactive, and possess a keen understanding of sales, marketing, and customer relationship management to achieve impactful results. Responsibilities • Develop and execute comprehensive community outreach strategies that align with organizational goals, enhancing visibility and engagement. • Identify, cultivate, and maintain strong relationships with community partners, stakeholders, and potential clients to foster collaborative opportunities. • Lead business development initiatives by researching market trends, identifying new opportunities, and creating tailored proposals to secure partnerships. • Utilize CRM (Customer Relationship Management) software such as Salesforce to track interactions, manage contacts, and analyze outreach effectiveness. • Coordinate marketing campaigns and promotional activities to increase brand awareness within target communities. • Negotiate agreements and contracts with partners and clients to ensure mutually beneficial terms while meeting organizational objectives. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on strategic planning, project management, and execution of outreach programs to maximize impact. Experience • Proven experience in business development or community outreach roles with a track record of successful partnership building. • Strong knowledge of CRM software platforms like Salesforce or similar tools for managing customer data and outreach activities. • Demonstrated ability in sales, negotiation, and strategic planning to drive growth initiatives. • Familiarity with project management principles to coordinate multiple initiatives efficiently. • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage diverse audiences effectively. • Experience in marketing strategies that support community engagement and brand positioning is highly desirable. How do you handle working in a startup-like environment with changing needs?” • Outreach sometimes means hearing ‘no.’ How do you handle rejection and stay motivated?” • What tools or systems do you use to track outreach visits, leads, follow-ups, and community contacts? • This role pays $22/hour.
