Solar Project Manager Location: Remote (U.S.-based) with travel requiredCompany Type: EPC specializing in distributed generation solar, rooftop systems, and energy storage About the Role: We're seeking a seasoned Solar Project Manager to lead the full lifecycle of distributed generation solar and rooftop projects, including integrated BESS systems. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced EPC environment and can take ownership from pre-construction through closeout. You'll be the technical and operational anchor across engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning. Key Responsibilities: • Manage all phases of DG solar and rooftop projects, including BESS integration • Lead pre-construction planning, budgeting, and scheduling • Coordinate with internal engineering, procurement, and construction teams • Oversee subcontractors and vendors to ensure quality and timeline adherence • Drive project execution, monitor progress, and resolve field issues • Ensure compliance with safety, permitting, and regulatory standards • Maintain strong client relationships and provide regular updates Qualifications: • 4+ years of experience managing solar EPC projects • Proven track record with rooftop and DG solar installations • Familiarity with BESS technologies and integration • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills • Willingness to travel as needed EOE Statement: Specialist Staffing Group is an equal opportunity employer.
