Wake Orthopedics a multi-specialty orthopaedic group with multiple locations in Wake County, NC is seeking a Patient Services Representative to fill a full-time position, in our North Raleigh Region Office locations working front desk. The North Raleigh Region includes our North Raleigh, Brier Creek and Wake Forest office locations. We offer a unique work environment promoting personal and professional growth. We offer the highest quality care for pediatric and adult patients. Our practices provide a full range of orthopaedic services including advanced diagnostic imaging, innovative treatment options, minimally invasive and traditional procedures, and rehabilitation services. Whether it be recovering from a broken bone, joint replacement surgery, a sports injury or a fracture – our goal is to get patients back to doing the things they love. We offer: • Weekly Pay • PTO Buyback: Sell your PTO for cash at the end of the year • 100% employer paid health insurance: $0 premium base plan Primary Duties and Responsibilities will include: • Communicate with the patient in a professional and compassionate manner. • Greet patients and check them in for their appointment. • Register patient in EHR including insurance verification. • Schedule patient appointments based on provider availability and preference. • Collect monies owed such as co-pays and balances. • Communicate with billing staff as needed to ensure patient’s financial impact is accurate. • Communicate with clinical staff as needed to ensure patient medical questions are answered timely. • Document accurately within our EHR, Epic. • Other duties will be assigned by management as needed.
