Overview The Manager, Research Solutions plays a pivotal role in driving the success of Prodege’s most strategic market research projects while leading and developing a team of Project Managers. Serving as both a team leader and direct project owner, this role bridges the needs of high-value clients with the capabilities of internal delivery teams to ensure flawless execution and exceptional client service. By embodying the ProdegeWay, the Research Solutions Manager fosters long-term client relationships, delivers white-glove service, and upholds the highest standards of operational excellence. This role is critical to the continued growth of the West Coast team, requiring deep market research expertise, collaborative leadership, and a steadfast commitment to client success. Primary Objectives • Lead and Develop a High-Performing Project Management Team: Oversee the day-to-day operations and expected pace of your team of Project Managers. Providing them with coaching, mentoring and support to foster their professional growth, enhance their skills, and empower them to exceed expectations in project delivery and client satisfaction consistently. • Cultivate and Nurture Strategic Client Relationships: Serve as the primary operational point of contact for our most strategic accounts. Personally manage key projects and oversee projects for which your team is the primary point of contact. Ensure the team consistently delivers a “white glove” client experience, builds strong relationships, and meets or exceeds expectations. • Ensure Flawless End-to-End Project Execution and Operational Excellence: Drive the successful execution of market research projects from inception (collaboration with account directors on proposals as well as providing design guidance) through final delivery (data processing, visualization, invoicing, debriefs), meticulously managing quality, timelines, and budgets/margins. Proactively identify and resolve challenges, stepping in to support the team and navigate high-pressure situations with confidence and strategy. • Drive Continuous Improvement and Innovation in Project Delivery: Champion the refinement and development of processes, methodologies, and technological approaches to enhance efficiency, quality, and client value in project delivery, aligning with client needs and organizational objectives. Additional Management Responsibilities • Performance Management: setting and managing goals, on-going coaching, corrective action, annual reviews, rewards/recognition, and team/individual development • Employee Life Cycle Management: headcount forecasting, job descriptions, recruiting/hiring, termination • Governance: ensuring compliance to company policy/practice (e.g. attendance, behavior, workplace attire), ensuring compliance to employment law (e.g. time keeping, anti-harassment and diversity) • Leadership: ensures availability to staff, team building, building rapport with individuals, encouraging strong collaborative relationships between individuals and departments, facilitating a healthy work/life mix, solicits and applies feedback (internal and external to team), self-improvement as a leader/manager of people • Culture Ambassador: proactively demonstrate and cultivate a culture of cooperative collaboration, strong work ethic, solutions-orientation, quality focus, results-orientation, relaxed/enjoyable atmosphere, team- and individual- celebration, and company/product pride What does SUCCESS look like? Success in this role is passionately leading a highly skilled and motivated team of Project Managers to consistently deliver a collaborative and white-glove service, delighting our strategic clients through robust relationship management and the flawless, end-to-end execution of even the most complex market research projects. You will ensure the meticulous management of key accounts from project win to data delivery, upholding the highest quality standards, timeliness, and budget adherence. Beyond flawless operational execution, you will champion continuous improvement, proactively identifying innovative solutions and refining processes to elevate our delivery capabilities, ultimately driving client satisfaction and contributing to the growth and stellar reputation of our team.
