The Business Support Analyst II provides autonomous decision-making for Loan Administration functions, including project tracking and policy updates. They drive operational process improvements and ensure adherence to policies and procedures.
Candidates must have 3-5 years of experience in mortgage servicing operations and possess technical writing skills. An associate degree or equivalent in a technical or business-related field is preferred.

Position Summary: Provides autonomous decision making for the Loan Administration functions including: Project tracking, Policy and Procedure creation and updates for publishing, Process Mapping, Pre and Post board audits, and any other projects as assigned by management. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Drives and implements operational process improvements as well as ensures adherence to operational policies and procedures. This position will primarily assist in the various initiatives for Loan Administration. Requires 3 - 5 years of experience in mortgage servicing operations and technical writing skills. Must exercise discretion, independent judgement, and a high level of autonomy as it relates to making decisions regarding reporting and process alterations. A flexible schedule will be essential, which may include early morning, evening, or weekend work. Remote access may be available for flexible hours. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. Qualifications Required: Associates degree or college equivalent, technical or business related is preferred. 3 - 5 years of mortgage servicing experience. Intermediate to advanced data manipulation skills in Microsoft Excel is a must. Experience in technical writing and process mapping. Ability to analyze and document operational processes. Ability to work independently and efficiently manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast pace environment. Must be detail oriented with strong organizational, analytical and trouble shooting skills. Ability to analyze and document operational processes. Essential Functions & Responsibilities: Complete an in – depth analysis of quality results for all account management teams and present on a monthly basis to upper management. Create and recommend QA remediation plans to improve performance. Conduct monthly audits on AM management Send daily reports to management team. Manage departmental updates for recently boarded loans. Drives and implements controls and expedites the flow of work. Communicate with upper management regarding status. Oversee the preparation of a variety of documents including: spreadsheets, charts, policies and procedures and presentation materials for external or internal purposes. Develop effective relationships with internal staff and external vendors through verbal and written communications. Coordinate between all of Fay’s Servicing Departments, Training, PMO, QA and P&Ps Ongoing focus on improving processes, making recommendations, and participating in implementations to improve overall efficiency. Assist in the departmental audits and provide timely responses. Perform audits of Escrow data in various systems to ensure adequate and accurate tracking of insurance and tax lines. Physical Requirements Necessary on a Regular Basis: Repetitive motion. Manual dexterity, arm and upper body range of motion sufficient for use of a keyboard, mouse and telephone 7-8 hours per day. Speech and hearing sufficient for in-person and telephone communication 7-8 hours per day. Vision sufficient for use of a computer monitor. Sedentary work. Ability to sit at a desk 7-8 hours per day.
