5+ years Neo4j architect experience, strong Cypher skills, graph database expertise, domain experience in WM and Fraud/AML/Surveillance, and a relevant degree.
Position: Neo4j Architect Location: Preferred NY location. Remote is also acceptable Duration: 12 months Must have domain experience (any one of WM + any one of Fraud/AML/Surveillance), which is one of the key requirements to successfully partner with the business SMEs and solve business problems leveraging Neo4J. Position Overview: We are looking for a talented NEO4J Architect who will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our graph database environments. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in debugging and performance tuning database environments, with a particular emphasis on NEO4J. Additionally, a deep understanding of Cypher and graph database concepts is essential, while familiarity with relational database concepts is highly desirable. Key Responsibilities: • Design, develop, and implement scalable and efficient graph database solutions using NEO4J. • Debug and troubleshoot database performance issues, identifying and implementing optimization strategies to improve overall system performance. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and design solutions that meet business needs. • Develop and maintain database schema, ensuring data integrity and security. • Create and optimize Cypher queries to extract meaningful insights from graph data. • Stay abreast of emerging trends and technologies in graph database management systems and recommend improvements or updates as necessary. • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and continuous learning. Requirements: • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Master s degree preferred. • Proven experience as a NEO4J Architect or similar role, with a minimum of 5 years of experience. • Strong expertise in debugging and performance tuning database environments, particularly with NEO4J. • Proficiency in Cypher query language and demonstrated ability to optimize queries for performance. • Solid understanding of graph database concepts and principles, with practical experience in designing and implementing graph database solutions. • Familiarity with relational database concepts and experience working with SQL databases is a plus. • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and analytically. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization. • Proactive mindset with a passion for learning and staying updated on the latest technologies and industry trends.
