Job Overview We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Commercial Cleaning Technician to join our professional cleaning team. This role involves maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards across various commercial facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for clients and employees alike. The ideal candidate will have prior janitorial or custodial experience and a strong work ethic, with the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Duties • Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and trash removal in commercial spaces such as offices, retail stores, and industrial facilities • Clean and sanitize restrooms, kitchens, and common areas according to established protocols • Operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums, mops, etc. • Restock supplies like paper towels, soap, and toilet paper to ensure continuous availability • Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly • Follow all safety procedures and use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required • Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and attention to detail in all assigned areas Skills • Proven experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial services is preferred • Strong knowledge of custodial practices and cleaning techniques • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while adhering to safety standards • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills • Good physical stamina; ability to stand for extended periods, lift light to moderate loads, and perform repetitive tasks efficiently • Reliable time management skills to complete assigned tasks within scheduled shifts This position offers an opportunity to be part of a dedicated team committed to maintaining clean, safe environments across various commercial settings.
