Position Summary The VP, Investment and Enterprise Operations will provide strategic leadership and executive accountability for Prismic Life's production operating model across investment and enterprise operations. The role will translate strategic priorities and new business requirements into repeatable processes, clear accountability, effective controls, and dependable service delivery. This leader will be accountable for day-to-day operational performance and for building organizational capabilities required to support new reinsurance transactions, legal entities, investment mandates, asset classes, and external partners. As a senior leader within the COO organization, the Vice President will shape enterprise operating strategy, advise executive leadership on operational risk and readiness, and ensure that investment and enterprise operations enable Prismic’s growth objectives. Key Responsibilities • Set the strategy for and lead the end-to-end investment and enterprise operating model, including roles, decision rights, handoffs, service standards, escalation paths, and management reporting. • Lead operational readiness for new transactions, legal entities, investment mandates, asset classes, managers, custodians, administrators, and other strategic partners, ensuring that operational risks, resource requirements and key decisions are identified and addresses before implementation • Establish clear accountability across Prismic Life and its external service providers through documented responsibilities, service-level expectations, performance reviews, and escalation procedures, and hold internal and external stakeholders accountable for agreed outcomes. • Provide executive business ownership and strategic direction for Aladdin and related investment operations capabilities following implementation, including service management, change prioritization, user governance, issue resolution, and continuous improvement. • Oversee investment data and operational workflows from source through reporting, with clear data ownership, reconciliation requirements, exception management, and sign-off controls, ensuring that information used for management, financial, regulatory and investment decision-making is reliable and well governed • Establish and oversee an operational control framework covering reconciliations, approvals, access, valuation and data exceptions, incident management, change management, and business continuity. • Provide executive oversight of significant operational incidents and remediation activities in partnership with business owners, with transparent root-cause analysis, action tracking, and escalation to the COO and Risk function. • Lead the operating aspects of vendor management, including onboarding, due diligence, contract and statement-of-work alignment, service monitoring, renewal readiness, and exit planning, with accountability for service quality, operational resilience, value and concentration risk • Partner with the Director, Enterprise Program to convert approved enterprise priorities into executable operating plans and to surface delivery risks, dependencies, and decisions for executive consideration · Build the operating cadence, team structure, procedures, and performance measures required to sustain the function as Prismic Life grows. • Advise the Group Chief Operating Officer and senior leadership on operational capacity, scalability, risk, investment priorities, and required trade-offs. • Provide management, Board, regulator, and auditor support on the operating model, key controls, service-provider oversight, incidents, and remediation progress, and represent the function in senior governance and decision-making forums. Qualifications • At least 10+ years of progressive experience in insurance, reinsurance, investment operations, asset management operations, or a comparable financial-services environment • Demonstrated leadership across investment operations, data, technology-enabled change, controls, and third-party service providers, with a record of delivering measurable operational and organizational outcomes. • Strong understanding of the operating requirements supporting public and private assets, derivatives, alternatives, and insurance or reinsurance liabilities. • Experience designing and implementing target operating models, service frameworks, controls, and governance in a growing or changing organization, including leading significant operational transformation. • Experience advising executive leadership and presenting complex operational, risk, or transformation matters to senior governance bodies, Boards, regulators, or auditors. • Experience with Aladdin or a comparable investment platform is preferred. • Demonstrated strong executive communication, judgment, and the ability to resolve complex and competing priorities across internal teams and external partners. • Strong commercial and financial acumen, including experience prioritizing resources, managing service providers, and evaluating operational investment decisions. • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience; advanced degree or relevant professional designation is preferred. Noteworthy Points: • Although the position is remote, there is a strong preference for candidates living in the NY Metropolitan Area. • Must be a US Citizen or Green Card Holder. • The salary range for the position is $215,000 - $295,000 depending on experience.
