Our team of professionals brings commercial depth and technical expertise across various fields, including Reinsurance, Investments, Finance, Asset-Liability Management, Actuarial, Transactions, Law, Controllership, Operations, and Risk. We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Program Manager to lead business delivery initiatives across technology, business, and transaction domains of a multinational asst intensive reinsurance group. Reporting to the VP Governance and Chief of Staff, this remote position is based in the tri-state area and offers the opportunity to drive strategic projects that impact our organization’s growth and operational excellence. Regular travel to Bermuda will be required to support business delivery initiatives and ongoing project needs. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership qualities, exceptional communication abilities, and advanced organizational skills. Additionally, the ideal candidate will demonstrate proven experience in strategic planning. The organization is in an advanced start-up phase and so comfort working in ambiguous situations, with the ability to adapt and make decisions in evolving environments, is essential. Candidates should possess strong business acumen, advanced analytical skills, and a talent for engaging and influencing senior leadership to drive organizational priorities. This role is initially offered on a contract basis with the potential to convert to a permanent position based on performance and business needs. Key Responsibilities • Lead and manage multiple strategic projects simultaneously, ensuring alignment with business objectives and delivering results on time and within budget. • Develop and execute comprehensive project plans, including scope, timeline, resources, and risk management strategies. • Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders across technology, business, and transaction functions, facilitating effective communication and collaboration. • Drive business delivery by identifying opportunities for process improvement, innovation, and operational efficiency. • Monitor project progress, provide regular status updates, and proactively address potential challenges or obstacles. • Ensure projects adhere to company standards, compliance requirements, and best practices. • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams, external partners, and executive leadership. • Leverage knowledge of reinsurance (if applicable) to inform project strategies and support business objectives. Qualifications Experience with Agile methodologies is required, as the Program Director will be expected to lead projects using iterative and adaptive approaches to optimize delivery. Preference will be given to candidates who hold a PMP (Project Management Professional) certification, demonstrating advanced project management expertise and commitment to industry standards. • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent from an accredited college/university (MBA or equivalent preferred). • Minimum of 10-12 years’ progressive experience in program or project management, business delivery or strategic project leadership, preferably within financial services, reinsurance or insurance. • Demonstrated experience leading enterprise-level, cross functional initiatives with material business impact, including ownership of outcomes across multiple workstreams. • Proven ability to operate at a senior leadership level, partnering closely with executive stakeholders and influencing decision making across business. • Strong strategic orientation, with experience translating business objectives into executable programs and measurable results. • Exceptional communication and executive-level presentation skills, including the ability to synthesize complex topics for senior audiences and Boards. • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. • High degree of comfort working in an ambiguous, fast-moving, or start-up environment with sound judgement and ability to balance speed with rigor. • Extensive experience with Agile and hybrid delivery models with the ability to select and tailor methodologies appropriate to organizational maturity. • Familiarity with modern technology and tools. • Knowledge of reinsurance or related financial products is highly desirable. • Located in or willing to work remotely within the tri-state area (New York, New Jersey, Connecticut). Compensation & Benefits Prismic is required by state specific laws to include the salary range for this role when hiring a resident in applicable locations. The salary range for this role is from $110,000 - $195,000. Specific pricing for the role may vary within the above range based on may factors including geographic location, candidate experience and skills. • Competitive salary commensurate with experience. • Comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, and vision insurance. • Eligibility for Long term incentives and 401(k) retirement plan savings.
