Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and strategic Vice President of Projects to oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of large-scale organizational initiatives. This senior leadership role will be responsible for managing project portfolios, aligning projects with business objectives, and ensuring timely, cost-effective, and high-quality outcomes. The VP of Projects will provide vision, leadership, and operational oversight to project management teams across the organization. Key Responsibilities: • Lead the strategic planning, prioritization, and execution of key projects across the organization. • Oversee the entire project lifecycle, from initiation to completion, ensuring alignment with corporate goals. • Develop and implement project management frameworks, methodologies, and best practices. • Direct and mentor project managers and cross-functional teams to achieve excellence in delivery. • Manage project budgets, resource allocation, and risk mitigation strategies. • Serve as the executive point of escalation for project issues, conflicts, or delays. • Collaborate with senior executives and stakeholders to align project outcomes with strategic objectives. • Monitor and report on portfolio performance, providing insights and recommendations to leadership. • Drive continuous improvement in project execution, efficiency, and stakeholder satisfaction. Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Project Management, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred. • 18+ years of progressive experience in project management, with at least 5 years in senior leadership. • Proven track record of delivering complex, high-impact projects on time and within budget. • Strong leadership, organizational, and decision-making skills. • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities. • Advanced knowledge of project management tools, methodologies (Agile, PMI, PRINCE2), and performance metrics. • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Preferred Skills: • Experience in large organizations or multinational environments. • Strong financial acumen and experience managing multimillion-dollar project budgets. • Familiarity with digital transformation, innovation projects, or change management initiatives. Work Environment: • Executive-level role with cross-departmental influence. • Office-based with occasional travel depending on project requirements. •
