NAPCO Media (www.napco.com), a subsidiary of PRINTING United Alliance (https://www.printing.org/), is a fast-paced B2B media organization serving the printing, retail, and nonprofit industries. We specialize in the creation and cross-channel distribution of exceptional content on print and digital platforms such as newsletters, magazines, podcasts, social media, and events. Our mission is to build community between the audiences and clients we serve. The Audience Development team is seeking an Associate Director to drive audience acquisition, engagement, and retention across a portfolio of brands through data-driven strategies and innovation. This leader combines strategic oversight with hands-on execution to deliver measurable audience growth, while modernizing workflows through AI-driven tools, automation, and martech optimization. The role fosters a culture of continuous learning, leveraging emerging technologies to enhance targeting, content personalization, and campaign performance. Responsibilities: · Lead development and execution of audience strategies with KPIs for acquisition, engagement, and retention across all brands. · Guide and mentor the Audience Development team, prioritizing leadership development and cross-functional collaboration. · Implement and optimize AI-powered tools and automation to accelerate workflows, personalize campaigns, and improve ROI. · Oversee execution of organic social frameworks, ensuring consistency, brand alignment, and performance optimization across platforms. · Drive newsletter innovation, including A/B testing, AI-driven content optimization, UX improvements, and sponsored content integration. · Collaborate with marketing, editorial, and product teams to develop integrated campaigns using owned media, email, partnerships, and social channels. · Evaluate telemarketing and print circulation as retention/acquisition channels, optimizing or reallocating budget based on performance. · Lead SEO strategy and optimization initiatives to improve discoverability and engagement. · Use advanced analytics, predictive modeling, and martech platforms (e.g., Lytics, ZoomInfo) to inform segmentation and campaign decisions. · Stay ahead of trends in AI, automation, and audience engagement tools to position the organization at the forefront of innovation. · Manage external vendor relationships and partnerships to support growth objectives. · Promote a culture of transparency, creativity, and solution-driven thinking through regular team meetings and alignment sessions. Qualifications & Skills: · 6+ years of experience in audience development, digital marketing, or media strategy, with measurable success in audience growth. · Expertise in SEO, email marketing, and multichannel campaign planning. · Hands-on experience with AI tools for content generation, predictive modeling, and workflow automation. · Proficiency with analytics and martech platforms (Omeda, Lytics, ZoomInfo, Google Analytics, Parse.ly). · Proven leadership skills, including mentoring, team development, and fostering cross-functional collaboration. · Deep understanding of paid and organic social media strategies; experience collaborating with agencies. · Strong analytical mindset with ability to translate data into actionable strategies. · Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with a track record of driving alignment across teams.
