Job Overview: The Compliance Manager plays a pivotal role in ensuring regulatory and internal compliance across all project sites. This leadership position oversees audit processes, certified payroll validation, and strategic compliance initiatives, while mentoring a team of Compliance Supervisors. The role demands expertise in government regulations, IRA requirements, and certified payroll systems, with a strong focus on continuous improvement and operational excellence. Primary Job Responsibilities: • Lead compliance audits across all project sites, ensuring thorough documentation and resolution of non-conformities. • Validate certified payroll and compliance documentation in collaboration with Payroll department. • Supervise Compliance Supervisors and provide mentorship, guidance, and performance evaluations. • Coordinate workload distribution and ensure adherence to compliance standards and regulations. • Serve as a subject matter expert and escalation point for complex compliance issues prior to Compliance Manager involvement. • Consolidate audit findings and present summaries to Compliance Manager and leadership teams. • Track compliance metrics and recommend corrective actions and process improvements. • Champion new processes, providers, and technologies to improve data tracking and reporting efficacy. • Support strategic compliance initiatives and contribute to continuous improvement efforts. • Ensure compliance with the Inflation Reduction Act for apprenticeships and prevailing wage. • Answer questions and provide guidance to managers regarding compliance expectations, policies, and procedures. Education & Experience Requirements: • Minimum 5 years of experience in compliance auditing, program management, or supervisory roles. • Experience managing multiple teams and projects in a fast-paced environment. • Proficiency in compliance tracking tools such as LCP Tracker. Preferred Skills/Abilities: • Strong understanding of government regulations, IRA, certified payroll, and apprenticeship programs. • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. • Strategic, innovative, and forward-thinking with strong problem-solving abilities. • High level of initiative, self-motivation, and adaptability. • Ability to promote education, skills development, and career advancement opportunities. • Construction industry experience preferred.
