We are searching for an experienced Receptionist to join our team. The candidate should be presentable, professional and organized. Responsibilities include but are not limited to, registering patients, checking insurance eligibility, processing payments and claims, controlling schedule, basic knowledge of ADA codes. Must have some knowledge of treatment planning. Prior use of Open Dental is an advantage. Top pay if you can take and read X-rays (not necessary to be hired). The candidate should speak English fluently, being bilingual is a plus(spanish) . We are also hiring in our Queens office. For a quicker response text 646-430-2022 Responsibilities • Greet patients warmly and assist them with check-in and check-out procedures. • Manage appointment scheduling, confirmations, and cancellations efficiently. • Maintain patient records, ensuring all documentation is accurate and up-to-date. • Handle incoming calls and inquiries with professionalism and courtesy. • Process insurance claims and verify patient insurance coverage. • Assist with clerical duties including filing, data entry, and documentation review. • Utilize dental software systems such as eClinicalWorks or Athenahealth for patient management. • Ensure compliance with health information management standards and maintain confidentiality of patient information. • Support the dental team with office management tasks as needed. Qualifications • Previous experience in a dental or medical office setting is preferred. • Familiarity with ICD-10 coding and medical coding practices is a plus. • Proficiency in using dental software systems such as eClinicalWorks or Athenahealth is desirable. • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply. • Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation is essential. • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
