Project Coordinator Our Client is an award-winning exhibit design and fabrication firm that collaborates with various agencies in the design, production, fabrication, and installation of interpretive and wayfinding signage and exhibits. SUMMARY Our client is is currently seeking a project manager with several years of experience. Knowledge in fabrication and construction is important. They are looking to grow the business, and are seeking someone whose skills could help us develop and refine internal processes to reduce errors, reduce redundancy, and make it easier for us to work more efficiently. SCHEDULE: Full-time PAY: Based on experience BENEFITS: Health Insurance, 401k, Profit Sharing, 9 Paid Holidays, 40 hours PTO and more! Project Manager responsibilities • Facilitates work by asking the team what they need to succeed and making it happen • Coordinates with designers and the fabrication manager (shop foreman) to ensure that projects will be completed on time • Enough project management experience to have a sixth sense regarding when and how soon to take action to prevent an undesirable outcome. • Schedules move around quite a bit - so flexibility is important - communication within the team is paramount. • Ability to evaluate how schedules interface - lead times, client expectations, installations vs shop time, etc to find the best solutions to getting projects out on time. • Know all the products being produced for each project. Track all parts. • Assist with quality control as projects go through fabrication and stage to ship, including ensuring that shipping paperwork (for the client) is included in the shipment and professionally prepared. • Keep an eye on all project schedules across the business.
