Human Resource Assistant Our client is a locally owned and operated electronics manufacturer. They are the choice supplier for leading-edge companies in the medical, aerospace, defense, industrial and communication segments for electronics manufacturing services. They offer great benefits, career path development and a great work environment! Summary The Human Resource Assistant provides key administrative support to the Human Resources Department. Responsibilities • Benefit Administration. • Full-cycle recruiting. • Track, document and follow-up on action required to manage employee attendance program. • Perform new hire, job change, and benefits orientations as needed while managing all paperwork. • Train personnel on company policies/processes. • Respond to unemployment claims, requests for information and references as needed. • Lead and/or participate in team projects and the implementation of company events. Qualifications • 1+ year experience in HR required. In manufacturing preferred. • Displays a high-level critical thinking and analysis. • Demonstrated highly motivated strong leadership and teambuilding skills with self-motivation, problem solving abilities, team spirit and a “hands on” mentality. • Advanced level of proficiency in computer systems. • Excellent communication in person, over the phone, email, internet or in writing in a positive and always in a professional manner.
