We are seeking an experienced Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) to support clinical laboratory operations with a strong focus on specimen accessioning and lab bench work. This role is ideal for candidates with hands-on laboratory experience rather than phlebotomy-focused backgrounds. Job Description: Job Title: MLT Location: Detroit, MI 48202 Schedule: Mon-Fri (8x5) Shift: Day’s Pay Range: $1600-$1725 Gross Weekly Position Requirements: · Minimum 3 years of recent clinical laboratory experience · Active MLT certification (required) · BLS certification required · Experience with Epic and Sunquest CoPathPlus (LIS) preferred · Prior experience working in a clinical lab environment · Comfortable handling specimens and working in PPE · Strong attention to detail and documentation skills Key Responsibilities: · Sample receipt and accessioning · Laboratory bench testing and support · Handling and processing clinical specimens · Supporting prenatal testing workflows (significant portion of testing) · Ensuring compliance with lab safety and quality standards Note: This position requires lab bench and accessioning experience.
