Job Title: Customer Service Representative Employment Type: W2 Contract (1-year) Pay Rate: $17/hour Location: 100% Remote (must reside in MN) Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM MST About the Role We’re seeking a Customer Service Representative to join a virtual healthcare support team assisting medical providers in Colorado. This role is part of a large-scale initiative supporting Medicaid billing and provider inquiries. You’ll be on the front line of communication — resolving issues, providing accurate information, and ensuring a positive experience for healthcare professionals across the state. Key Responsibilities • Answer inbound calls from medical providers regarding claims inquiries, prior authorizations, member eligibility, and portal support. • Provide accurate explanations of benefits (EOBs) and assist with issue resolution on the first call whenever possible. • Document all interactions and outcomes within internal systems for reporting and follow-up. • Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations and all internal standards. • Consistently meet productivity, schedule adherence, and quality goals. • Communicate professionally and empathetically to maintain strong provider relationships. Required Qualifications • Minimum 1 year of customer service experience (call center preferred). • Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). • Strong problem-solving, multitasking, and communication skills (both written and verbal). • Ability to work Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM MST. • Must be 18 years or older and authorized to work in the U.S. • Comfortable working remotely with reliable internet and a quiet, private workspace. Preferred Qualifications • Bilingual (English/Spanish). • Prior experience in healthcare, medical billing, or Medicaid customer support. • Familiarity with Microsoft Teams, Salesforce, CX1, or other call center and CRM systems. • Previous remote call center experience handling high-volume calls. Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate has a background in medical call centers or provider support, understands the basics of Medicaid claims and billing, and can confidently handle inbound provider inquiries. They’re detail-oriented, adaptable, and thrive in a fast-paced, virtual environment.
