Pre-Sales Support Engineer Job Summary/Mission: • Provide internal and external customer product support. This includes process/site audits and initial installation of new products, • Provide consultation on complex projects and applications as an operation top-level contributor in project • Become a product expert/on the entire product range and be effective to present, train, install and represent during customer presnetations Principal Activities / Duties / Responsibilities: • Provide technical pre and post sales support to internal and external customers, by phone or onsite. • Trains employees, provides installation guidance and finding solutions on unique, complex or recurrent technical problems, projects and applications. • Determines and recommends which products or services best fit the customers’ needs. • Collaboration and teamwork with sales members to assist with machine demos, installations, technical training, customer communication and follow up activities • Develop and maintain technical and operational competency on products through study, training, hands on use and field exposure to customer applications. • Will aid in developing, implementing and participating in training courses to continually increase the level of product knowledge of the sales organization on an ongoing basis; as well as continually developing personal knowledge and skills • Must be able to multi-task and prioritize while acting as a project manager, team leader, consultant and problem solver • Duties may include, new equipment installations, customer training, emergency and routine repair, and maintenance.
