Marketing & Creative Lead (Independent Contractor) Location: Remote (USA required) Compensation: $800/month retainer (independent contractor) + free Pretty Mafia products & branded attire Start Date: September–October 2025 ⸻ About Pretty Mafia Pretty Mafia is where luxury meets culture in the beauty space. We’re seeking a Marketing & Creative Lead who can combine strategic marketing with creative execution. This hybrid role is ideal for someone who can keep Pretty Mafia’s marketing consistent while shaping our creative identity through branding, design, and campaign work. ⸻ Role Overview The Marketing & Creative Lead will own Pretty Mafia’s brand presence end-to-end. You’ll focus on planning content, running campaigns, managing email marketing, and guiding creative branding — while ensuring all visuals and storytelling align with a luxury, culturally relevant brand identity. This is an independent contractor role with a flat monthly retainer. You’ll have creative freedom and ownership of workflow while our internal team handles day-to-day basics. ⸻ Key Responsibilities • Social Media Management: Create and maintain a monthly Instagram & TikTok content calendar, posting 2–3x weekly. (Our brand will handle DMs and community management.) • Campaigns: Plan and execute 1–2 campaigns per month (product launches, promotions, or pop-ups). • Email/SMS Marketing: Build strategy and manage campaigns to engage and convert our audience. • Influencer/Ambassador Support: Manage influencer captions and reposting; PR manager and internal team handle onboarding and outreach. • Creative Branding: Design and refine core brand assets, including logo, typography system, brand kit, packaging concepts, and social templates. • Consistency & Reporting: Ensure all creative and marketing efforts are cohesive; deliver monthly performance insights and recommendations. ⸻ Qualifications • 3+ years in marketing, creative direction, or brand design (beauty/fashion/luxury a plus). • Strong skills in design tools (Canva or Adobe Suite) and marketing platforms. • Experience creating logos, typography systems, and brand kits. • Knowledge of social media marketing, influencer strategy, and email campaign management. • Independent, proactive, and able to balance both marketing strategy and design execution. ⸻ Perks & Benefits • $800/month flat retainer (independent contractor). • Free Pretty Mafia products + branded attire. • Flexible role with creative freedom and results-focused workflow. • Growth potential into a senior Creative or Marketing leadership role as Pretty Mafia scales.
