Full Description

Job Description: • Responsible for the leadership and direction of PHS purchased services and non-clinical supplies • Supplier selection and rationalization • Contract negotiations • Contracting and contract management • Supplier certification and performance management • Procurement requisitioning • Supplies and services formularies • Purchasing • Enforcement of PHS Purchasing, Contracting, and Authorization Policies • Optimizing labor and technology resources to provide customer-focused value analysis and procurement services • Develop and manage strategic plan with goals and objectives • Stay abreast of industry best practices • Provide leadership and direction to staff • Organize staff and resources to execute initiatives effectively • Manage staff scheduling and assignments • Oversee management of Opportunity Tracking Report (OTR) • Lead efforts to integrate Value Analysis program • Manage Supplier credentialing program • Collaborate with Accounts Payable leadership • Lead research and drill-down for supplies and services expenses • Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and standards • Support emergency/disaster preparedness Requirements: • Bachelor's degree • 7+ years progressive experience in healthcare supply chain leadership Benefits: • Competitive salaries • Full medical, dental and vision insurance • Flexible spending accounts (FSAs) • Free wellness programs • Paid time off (PTO) • Retirement plans, including matching employer contributions • Continuing education and career development opportunities • Life insurance and short/long term disability programs
