Partner with brokers in their region to create a broker strategy and sales goals through a community outreach approach. Responsible for creating a strong, grassroots outreach strategy in order to create sales events for Presbyterian DSNP members and prospects. Will have both a sales and event quota per month. Represents Presbyterian in the community; networks, develops and manages relationships with key advocate agencies and community partners in order to grow and retain DSNP membership. Creates and conducts sales events for brokers; Applies CMS and NCQA regulations and established PHP approved policies, procedures, and guidelines in all customer contacts, member initiatives, and communication materials. New Mexico State Health License required or obtained within 90 days of hire. Three years experience in a managed care organization with individual or employer group sales, preferably in Medicare Advantage plans, Medicare Supplements, and other senior or government programs. Requires three to five years customer service experience in health industry sales, or marketing. Bilingual preferred. Excellent public speaking and presentation skills; demonstrated ability to communicate effectively in person, by phone, and in writing with all levels of internal and external customers and partners. Requires strong interpersonal, negotiation, organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritization skills. Ability to understand what and how work is to be done as well as why it is done. This level includes interpretation of data. Ability to understand, interpret, and explain complex plan details and basic medical terminology. Must be able to work effectively as a team member and independently, and function well under pressure. Must be able to function effectively in a highly competitive Medicare product marketplace. Excellent PC skills; MS Office Windows Power Point required; database experience preferred; experience with integrated data management systems. Requires detailed knowledge of State and Federal compliance standards regarding government programs and products and PHP goals. Must complete all required basic and advanced compliance training. Must be able to lift to 25-50 pounds. Must have a valid New Mexico driver¿s license and maintain a good driving record. Must provide own transportation and be able to travel at least 70% of the time.
