PrepEdu Consulting LLC is a leading educational consulting firm dedicated to helping students reach their academic and personal goals through thoughtful, individualized guidance. Our team of experienced counselors and educators partners with students and families throughout the school and college admissions process, emphasizing authenticity, reflection, and excellence in every application. Responsibilities • Work one-on-one with students to brainstorm, structure, write, and refine college application essays. • Provide thoughtful, detailed feedback on essay drafts • Help students reflect meaningfully on their experiences to create authentic and compelling personal statements. • Collaborate with lead counselors to ensure consistent messaging across applications. • Communicate professionally with students, families, and the PrepEdu team. Qualifications • Bachelor’s or advanced degree from a top university. • Extensive experience (5+ years preferred) in college admissions counseling, writing instruction, or essay coaching. • Proven record of helping students gain admission to selective colleges and universities. • Exceptional writing, editing, and communication skills. • Deep understanding of college admissions expectations and essay strategies. • Ability to connect with students from diverse backgrounds and guide them with empathy and professionalism. Preferred Attributes • Former admissions officer, English or writing instructor, or professional college counselor. • Flexible schedule, including availability for evening or weekend sessions during peak season. • Passion for mentoring students and fostering confidence through the writing process. Compensation Competitive hourly rate, commensurate with experience and qualification. Job Type: Part-time Pay: $40.00 - $100.00 per hour Expected hours: 5 – 40 per week Benefits: • Flexible schedule Willingness to travel: • 25% (Preferred) Work Location: Remote
