About the Role We’re looking for a Senior Business Intelligence Analyst to transform data into actionable insights that drive strategic decisions across the organization. In this role, you’ll design and maintain BI solutions, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and support data-driven decision-making. You’ll report to the Manager of Business Intelligence and work closely with stakeholders across marketing, operations, and technology. This is a hybrid position based out of our downtown Phoenix, AZ office. Essential Responsibilities Technical Ownership Design, build, and deploy scalable BI solutions aligned with business needs. Maintain and enhance existing BI systems and data analytics platforms, primarily PowerBI. Develop and optimize ETL pipelines and automation processes. Conduct unit testing and troubleshoot issues to improve operational efficiency. Reporting & Analysis Gather, analyze, and interpret complex data to deliver actionable insights. Create reports, dashboards, and visualizations that support both quantitative and qualitative analysis. Respond to ad-hoc reporting requests across multiple business areas. Cross-functional Collaboration Partner with BI developers and data engineers to integrate systems and translate business requirements into technical specifications. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand goals and ensure data solutions meet strategic objectives. Develop and maintain technical documentation to support BI processes. Strategic Impact Identify opportunities for process improvement and data-driven decision-making. Influence business strategy through advanced analytics and predictive modeling. Mentor junior analysts and contribute to BI team development. Required 5+ years of experience as a BI Analyst or in a similar data-focused role. Proficiency with Power BI and other data visualization tools. Strong SQL skills; familiarity with Snowflake and Fabric Experience with Microsoft Power Platform, Tableau, or QlikView. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Bonus Points For Experience designing and maintaining ETL pipelines and automation. Understanding of data lake architecture and design principles. Familiarity with DevOps CI/CD methodologies. Background in transportation, logistics, or SaaS environments.
