• MUST BE US CITIZEN FOR THIS DoD OPPORTUNITY Job Title: Defense Procurement Compliance Analyst Department: Procurement / Compliance About the Role: We're looking for a Defense Procurement Compliance Analyst to help us stay in line with U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) rules when it comes to buying and subcontracting. You'll build and improve key policies, reports, and forms to support compliance. You'll also help move some of our manual processes into our ERP system and work with teams across the company to make sure everyone is on the same page. What You’ll Need: Education: • Bachelor’s degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, Business, Finance, or related field. Experience: • At least 5 years in government contracting, procurement, or compliance—especially with DoD contracts. Required: • Must be a U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or protected status under U.S. law). Skills That Will Help You Succeed: • Knowledge of DoD procurement rules (FAR/DFARS). • Experience with small business subcontracting reports (ISR/SSR). • Comfortable working with ERP systems and data tools. • Strong communication and writing skills. • Good at solving problems and improving processes. • Able to work independently and manage multiple priorities. • Comfortable working with different teams and influencing decisions. What You'll Do: Small Business Compliance • Help prepare and track small business subcontracting plans and reports (ISR, SSR). • Support proposal efforts by identifying small business subcontractors. • Review small business reports from lower-tier subcontractors. • Create templates, process maps, and step-by-step guides (SOPs) for reporting. • Suggest improvements to make small business tracking easier and more accurate. Policies & Procedures • Review and update our purchasing policy manual to match current business practices and government rules. • Work with legal, finance, and other departments to align policies. • Improve forms and checklists to keep everything consistent and up to date. • Help move paper forms to electronic tools where possible. • Create training materials to help employees follow the rules. Process Automation • Support moving subcontract data from shared files into our ERP system. • Write clear instructions (SOPs) for using the new system and keeping records organized.
