POSITION OVERVIEW As a Corporate Recruiter within the construction industry, you will play a pivotal role in identifying, attracting, and securing top talent to support the company’s growth and project demands. You will be responsible for managing the full recruitment lifecycle, from sourcing candidates to onboarding new hires, ensuring alignment with the company’s strategic goals and culture. This role requires close collaboration with hiring managers and department leaders to understand workforce needs and develop effective recruitment strategies tailored to the construction sector. You will also contribute to employer branding initiatives to position the company as an employer of choice in a competitive labor market. Ultimately, your efforts will directly impact the company’s ability to deliver high-quality construction projects by building a skilled and motivated workforce. Minimum Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. • At least 3 years of experience in recruitment, preferably within the construction/installation or related industries. • Strong knowledge of recruitment best practices and employment laws. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with candidates and internal stakeholders. Preferred Qualifications: • Experience recruiting for technical and skilled trade positions within construction. • Certification in Human Resources (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) or recruitment-specific credentials. • Familiarity with labor market trends and workforce challenges specific to the construction industry. • Demonstrated success in employer branding and talent acquisition marketing. • Ability to analyze recruitment metrics and use data to improve hiring processes. POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES Perform all necessary responsibilities to ensure the company recruiting runs smoothly, in line with company’s standards and customers’ expectations by accomplishing the following responsibilities: • Develop and execute targeted recruitment strategies to attract qualified candidates for various roles within the construction industry, including project managers, engineers, skilled trades, and administrative staff. • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including job posting, candidate sourcing, screening, interviewing, and coordinating with hiring managers to select the best fit for each position. • Build and maintain a strong talent pipeline through proactive sourcing methods such as networking, job fairs, social media, and industry events. • Collaborate with Compliance and department leaders to forecast hiring needs and develop workforce plans that align with project timelines and business objectives. • Ensure compliance with all relevant employment laws and company policies throughout the recruitment process, maintaining accurate records and reporting metrics on recruitment activities. Skills: The required and preferred skills are essential for successfully managing the recruitment lifecycle in a fast-paced construction environment. Strong communication skills enable you to build rapport with candidates and hiring managers, ensuring clear understanding of job requirements and candidate qualifications. Proficiency with ATS and recruitment tools streamlines candidate tracking and improves efficiency in managing multiple open positions simultaneously. Knowledge of employment laws and industry-specific hiring challenges ensures compliance and helps mitigate risks during the hiring process. Additionally, analytical skills allow you to assess recruitment data, identify trends, and continuously refine sourcing strategies to attract the best talent.
