An established firm is seeking a Transaction Advisory Services Senior or Supervisor to join a growing, collaborative team. Backed by more than a century of client-focused service in the Chicagoland market, the firm has grown organically rather than through mergers or acquisitions. Responsibilities: • Plan and execute buy-side and sell-side transaction advisory engagements, including financial due diligence for middle-market companies, with typical deal sizes ranging from $25–$100 million. • Manage all aspects of engagements, including analysis and discussion of EBITDA adjustments, historical and projected financial trends, and key financial ratios. • Analyze financial statement information (income statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements, and related reports) and provide recommendations in support of valuation and deal structuring alternatives. • Review workpapers and due diligence reports to ensure accuracy, completeness, and quality. • Train, mentor, and support the development of staff. • Identify opportunities to expand the level and scope of services and communicate those opportunities to senior management. Qualifications: • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in accounting. • CPA license preferred. • Four or more years of experience in quality of earnings, attestation, and audit engagements within a consulting environment, including prior experience in a senior-level role. • Strong knowledge of U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), U.S. Generally Accepted Auditing Standards (GAAS), and Uniform Guidance. • Strong commitment to client service with an entrepreneurial mindset. • Reliable transportation with the ability to travel to client and office locations as needed. • Strong collaboration skills and a team-oriented approach.
