Warehouse Associate – $23/hr | Full Benefits in 30 Days 📍 Location: Greenfield, IN 🕒 Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (40 hours a week guaranteed + overtime based on business needs) We’re seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate with (touch freight required) to join our team. This role involves a wide range of tasks including handling inbound and outbound shipments—ranging from Teklad feed products to research animals—preparing deliveries, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring timely distribution. 📦 PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: Check in delivery trucks Receive and track incoming shipments Fill orders for route trucks using WMS software such as JD Edwards or other appropriate tools Accommodate and carefully handle fragile packages Track and document Inbound shipment arrivals and Outbound shipment departure times with accuracy Unload and put away all inbound freight Tag and label stock Box and pack outgoing shipments in accordance with established procedures and standards Prepare assigned orders for shipment Record and manage damaged shipments Operate material handling and floor sweeper equipment Make safety a priority at all times Other duties as assigned KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS: High school diploma or equivalent. Forklift Certification is a plus. Previous working experience as a Warehouse Worker for three to five (3-5) years. Experience working with inventory and JDE software preferred. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. at times. Must be a team player. Good organizational and time-management skills. Ability to multitask. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Demonstrated ability to solve problems. SUMMARY: The Warehouse Associate is responsible for performing an array of duties such as receiving and processing incoming and outgoing shipments (including, but not limited to research animals and Teklad feed products). Specific functions include selection and packing of boxes, completing paperwork, in addition to retrieving, palletizing, wrapping, and staging the products. *This position could be offered at different levels for candidates who qualify with a combination of advanced levels of education and/or years of experience. The salary range will adjust along with the level of the role to match the person’s relevant experience and/or education level.
