Welder I Job Summary: The Welder I position is responsible for production welding fabricated metal products. Duties: · Set up welding machines based on the job at hand or using a Welding Procedure Specification · MIG weld steel as directed · Keep work areas clean and organized and take proper care of all equipment and facilities. · Follow all company rules and policies · Provide a great level of attention to detail and focus on the given task. · Follow all safety rules and quality standards · Work with team members to maximize productivity and efficiency · Provide manufacturing support as required Abilities and Skills: · Must be able to MIG weld to AWS standards · Must be able to lift up to 60 lbs. and stand constantly · Must have a working knowledge of manufacturing welded steel products · Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment · Ability to work independently Education/Experience · Certified Welder- MIG · 2 years of welding experience Job Type: Full-time Pay: $20.00 per hour Benefits: • 401(k) • 401(k) matching • Dental insurance • Health insurance • Life insurance • Vision insurance People with a criminal record are encouraged to apply Work Location: In person
