We operate in multiple states, manage thousands of containers weekly, and support some of the largest distribution centers in America. We are now seeking an elite, high-capacity Project Manager/Operations Assistant to join our leadership team. This is not a regular job. This role requires someone who is ready at any moment, able to travel 90%+ of the year, and capable of stepping into any building, any shift, any operation and driving results immediately. Position: Project Manager / Executive Operations Assistant Travel: 90%+ (Nationwide) Schedule: On-call, flexible, available as needed Training: 90-day intensive onboarding & field operations training. What You’ll Do You will play a critical role in the growth, stability, and performance of Precision Lumping Services by: Operations & Leadership • Overseeing multiple buildings, shifts, and startup operations across several states • Supporting and stepping into leadership roles when needed (shift lead, building manager, launch manager, etc.) • Ensuring performance, productivity, and safety standards across all DCs, buildings, and new sites • Coordinating with leads, supervisors, and workforce teams at existing and future locations Execution & Project Management • Launching new warehouse accounts and ensuring operational readiness • Implementing processes, training standards, and workforce optimization strategies • Traveling to problem locations to stabilize operations and increase production • Managing KPIs, container performance, labor planning, and staffing coordination Business Development • Supporting leadership in identifying and securing new contracts and partnerships • Representing Precision Lumping Services in walkthroughs, startup conversations, and operational pitches • Helping expand our footprint and maintain our “Gold Standard” operations reputation Executive-Level Support • Acting as a direct assistant to ownership and top leadership • Handling high-priority tasks, communication, and rapid response needs • Ensuring execution of top-level strategic initiatives Required Experience & Qualifications We are only looking for candidates who can operate at a high executive-operations level: • 3+ years experience in operations management, 3PL, warehouse leadership, logistics, or startup launches • Proven experience managing large teams across multiple locations • Strong background in workforce management, performance metrics, and operational problem-solving • Able to travel constantly, often with same-day notice • Excellent communication, leadership presence, and decision-making under pressure • Comfortable working long days, unusual hours, and high-speed environments • Must be able to handle any role when needed—hands-on and leadership-drive Who Thrives in This Role This position is perfect for someone who is • Built for fast-paced operations and constant movement • Able to adapt instantly and take charge of any building or situation • Obsessed with solving problems, improving performance, and creating stability • Professional, hungry for growth, and capable of representing Precision at the highest level • Looking for a long-term leadership future with a rapidly growing 3PL company Compensation • Competitive salary based on experience • Travel expenses covered • Performance incentives • Growth opportunities into regional leadership or director roles Job Type: Full-time Pay: From $100,000.00 per year Work Location: In person
