Responsibilities • Operate warehouse management systems (WMS) and RF scanners to accurately track inventory movements and order picking activities. • Perform order picking with pickers and ensure accurate selection for shipping or production needs. • Manage shipping and receiving processes by verifying inbound and outbound shipments, inspecting goods, and documenting transactions thoroughly. • Utilize cranes and heavy equipment to move large or bulky materials within the warehouse or construction-related environments. • Conduct heavy lifting tasks regularly, ensuring proper techniques are used to prevent injury while maintaining efficiency. • Assist in maintaining organized storage areas, stacking pallets safely, and ensuring proper placement of materials for easy access. • Support warehouse supervision by following operational procedures, participating in safety audits, and maintaining compliance with OSHA regulations. • Collaborate with team members on load & unload operations, ensuring timely processing of materials to meet production schedules. • Maintain mechanical knowledge of equipment to troubleshoot minor issues and perform routine maintenance when necessary. Experience • Proven warehouse distribution experience with a focus on materials handling, order picking, shipping & receiving, or related roles. • Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), RF scanners, and inventory control procedures. • Knowledge of OSHA safety standards related to heavy equipment operation and materials handling practices. • Demonstrated ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining productivity standards. • Experience working under the supervision of a warehouse manager or supervisor in fast-paced environments. • Join us as a 2ND SHIFT MATERIAL HANDLER and bring your energy, expertise, and enthusiasm to an organization committed to operational excellence!
