Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Receptionist/Administrative Assistant to join our team. This role is essential in providing exceptional customer service and administrative support, ensuring smooth operations within the office. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, be proficient in various office software, and have experience in managing front desk responsibilities. Key Responsibilities • Patient Interaction & Scheduling • Greet and check in/out patients in a friendly, professional manner. • Manage scheduling, rescheduling, and confirming of patient appointments. • Answer and route phone calls, emails, and patient inquiries • Administrative Duties • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records within Eaglesoft. • Verify insurance eligibility and benefits prior to appointments. • Collect and process patient payments, copays, and balances. • Maintain HIPAA compliance in all communications and record-keeping. • Insurance & Claims • Prepare, submit, and track dental claims through Eaglesoft and third-party claims software. • Review and resolve denied or unpaid claims in a timely manner. • Post insurance payments and adjustments accurately. • Communicate with insurance companies and patients regarding claim status, coverage, and billing inquiries. • Team Support • Coordinate with dental assistants, hygienists, and doctors to ensure smooth office flow. • Assist with reporting, daily reconciliation, and other administrative tasks as needed. Qualifications • Prior experience working in a dental office front desk role required. • Proficiency withEaglesoft dental practice management software. • Working knowledge of dental claims processes and third-party claims clearinghouses/software. • High school diploma or equivalent required; additional dental or administrative training preferred.
