7-10+ years professional experience with proven sales/business development and management skills, strong interpersonal and analytical abilities, CRM proficiency, and willingness to travel.

The Director of Sales is a people-first leader responsible for building, coaching, and managing a high-performing sales team across various donor cultivation levels (in-house Club One + Midfield sales teams). You will set the vision and operating rhythm, translating strategy into clear goals and workflows, and ensure the team consistently delivers an exceptional donor experience at scale. Duties and Responsibilities: Lead, coach, and develop a multidisciplinary team; set goals, KPIs, and operating cadence Drive performance management, resourcing, and cross-team coordination to remove blockers Optimize donor tiers and stewardship programs Implement scalable processes, SOPs, and systems with strong CRM hygiene Evaluate, optimize, and manage donor club tiers by auditing current fundraising, identifying gaps and opportunities, and executing improvements with the team Establish and monitor departmental metrics and align short-term fundraising goals with long-term planning and capacity Oversee portfolio management, upgrades, renewals, and retention programs with clear targets for acknowledgments, stewardship touches, and reporting Successful Candidates Will Possess: 7-10+ years of professional experience Proven ability to build and scale sales and/or fundraising team operations Direct experience in sales/business development prior to management track in your own career Strong interpersonal skills to engage, collaborate, and persuade Entrepreneurial, test-and-learn mindset with a bias toward action Analytical, systems-oriented approach to problem solving Highest discretion in handling sensitive information and documentation CRM/database proficiency Willingness to travel occasionally Critical thinker and collaborative team player with a strong sense of urgency Comfortable working through ambiguity and adapting quickly to shifting priorities Builds strong relationships and works effectively with individuals at all levels, including senior leadership How to Apply: First review our website at www.prageru.com. Final offer amounts depend on multiple factors including candidate experience and expertise, and most recent market data.
