Learning Operations Coordinator - Where Your Attention to Detail Shapes Success About Practifi (The Real Story) Sure, we build financial technology solutions—but that's just what we do, not who we are. At Practifi, we build financial technology, but more importantly, we build a place where people enjoy working and genuinely care about each other. In a crowd of fintechs preaching culture, we actually live it—what you see in interviews is what you'll experience every day. You'll join a team that solves real problems for real people, together. The Opportunity (What This Role Really Means) Our Learning & Development team is growing, and we need someone who's naturally detail-oriented, loves bringing order to chaos, and gets excited about helping training content reach the people who need it. This role is crucial because our clients depend on accurate, up-to-date training materials to succeed with our platform—and you'll be the person ensuring everything runs smoothly behind the scenes. This isn't a role that exists in a silo. You'll work closely with our entire Learning team, collaborate with product teams during releases, and connect with Customer Success to understand what training gaps need filling. Your work directly impacts how well our clients can use our platform, which means it matters. A lot. Your Day-to-Day (The Honest Version) Here's what you'll actually be doing: The Core Work: • Content Management & Quality Control: You'll be the eagle-eyed guardian of our training library, reviewing content during product releases, flagging what needs updates, and ensuring everything stays accurate and current • LMS Operations: Execute daily operations in our learning management system—uploading courses, managing user access, tracking completions, and troubleshooting technical issues when they arise • Regional Compliance Support: Adapt training materials for different markets (US, Canada, Australia), working with our compliance team to ensure we meet regulatory requirements in each region • Analytics & Reporting: Generate monthly training metrics reports, analyze engagement data, spot trends, and communicate insights to leadership so they can make informed decisions The Reality Check: • You'll navigate a learning curve—with a dedicated Practibuddy by your side • Our documentation is robust, but evolving; your feedback will help make it better • Curiosity is celebrated—questions are encouraged, not frowned upon • We solve challenges as a team, not in silos • You'll be working in systems that require attention to detail—one typo in a course title means 500 people see it wrong The Growth Part: • Annual Learnbucks stipend for continued education • Transparent, real promotion pathways—we grow from within (seriously, check out our career ladders) • Direct exposure to the entire Learning team and cross-functional projects • Space to experiment, fail fast, and innovate • Clear path to either operations analysis or technical writing, depending on where your strengths and interests take you What We're Really Looking For The Must-Haves: • 0-2 years of professional experience (we're genuinely open to recent graduates or career changers) • Strong writing background—English, technical writing, communications, or related field • Exceptional attention to detail (we're talking notice-the-missing-comma level) • Comfortable with technology and learning new systems quickly • Excellent written and verbal communication skills The More Important Stuff: • Someone who's comfortable being themselves (pets bombing Zoom calls welcome) • Natural curiosity about how things work and how they could work better • Ability to work independently while knowing when to ask for help • Appreciation for process and systems, but flexible enough to adapt when things change • Collaborative spirit (our Slack channels cover everything from work projects to reality TV) • Chicago-area preferred for in-person connection opportunities, but open to fully remote candidates What Taking This Leap Gets You The Practical Stuff: • Competitive salary: $58,000 - $68,000 (yes, we're transparent about pay) • 20 days paid vacation, 10 days paid sick, 3 paid personal days, 3 paid volunteering days (all annual from day one) • Comprehensive benefits package • Annual Learnbucks for continued education The Cultural Stuff (The Real Reasons People Stay): • Your Practibuddy: Someone dedicated to helping you succeed from day one • Real Work-Life Integration: Not just a buzzword—we actually mean it with flexibility • Bi-annual Summits: Chicago gatherings for connection, collaboration, and yes, celebration (trust falls optional) • Genuine Connections: What you see on video calls is what you get in person • Internal Celebrations: We celebrate big and small wins in Slack and IRL • Problem-Solving Encouragement: Your ideas and solutions are valued, even as the newest team member • Cross-Team Collaboration: Talk to anyone, contribute anywhere • High-Quality Documentation: We document how and why we do things, making ramp-up easier Living Our Values Daily Growth: Learnbucks, promotions from within, encouraged skill development—"Progress with purpose" Collaboration: Cross-functional projects, open communication, mutual support—"Together we achieve more" Transparency: Open pay scales, honest feedback, regular pulse surveys—"Clarity inspires trust" Curiosity: Permission to experiment, questions welcomed, continuous improvement—"Open minds ignite change" Integrity: Real client feedback drives decisions, authentic relationships matter—"Integrity leads, actions follow" Ready to Join Our Community? This role reports to the Director of Learning and you'll be working closely with our Learning Experience Designer, Technical Writer, and Training Consultant. Start date is flexible based on your availability, and yes, we're fully remote with those amazing in-person summits twice a year. One Last Thing: We're not just hiring a Learning Operations Coordinator—we're adding someone to our community. Someone whose attention to detail will keep our training materials pristine, whose questions will spark improvements, and whose authentic self will fit right in with our perfectly imperfect team. Sound like your kind of place? Let's talk.
