We’re seeking a strong, detail-driven leader to oversee our Flex team and ensure that every client settlement is disbursed accurately, efficiently, and in full compliance with legal standards. This leadership opportunity will focus on disbursement operations. We’re seeking an attorney with an active law license who’s ready to bring their legal and financial expertise into a management role. You’ll lead a geographically diverse team, collaborate closely with attorneys, finance, and operations, and ensure our clients receive their settlements quickly, accurately, and with transparency. What You Will Do: Lead and develop the Flex team to deliver accurate, timely disbursements. Oversee lien resolution, verification, petition drafting, check processing, and payouts. Review disbursement documentation and approve for final attorney review. Set KPIs, monitor dashboards, and drive improvements in accuracy and turnaround times. Work closely with attorneys, finance, and IT to streamline systems and workflows. Ensure every step of settlement processing meets compliance and regulatory standards. Requirements Active law license required (any state; does not have to be SC). 5+ years of experience in settlements, disbursements, or law firm operations. Background in civil litigation or personal injury law is ideal. Proven leadership in high-volume, compliance-driven environments. Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex processes clearly. Analytical, meticulous, and relentless about accuracy. Note: This is an operational leadership role. No legal representation or other activities constituting the practice of law will be performed in this position.
