The Opportunity We are looking for a Partner Sales Manager to accelerate revenue growth through Posit’s partner ecosystem. Reporting to the Head of Channels, you will own the partner sales motion across resellers, distributors, and managed service providers (MSPs). This role is focused on generating net-new pipeline, enabling partners to sell Posit software, and ensuring channel-initiated opportunities convert to revenue. The ideal candidate is a partner sales professional who thrives at building strong partner relationships, driving joint go-to-market activity, and collaborating closely with internal sales teams to expand market reach. What You Will Own Channel Revenue & Pipeline Drive net-new business through resellers, distributors, and MSPs by enabling partners to proactively position Posit with their customer base. Manage deal registration, track channel-initiated pipeline, and ensure strong collaboration with Posit’s direct sales organization. Prospect alongside partners (i.e- joint account mapping, customer list reviews) to uncover ideal opportunities. Identify, qualify, and onboard new partners aligned with Posit’s Ideal Partner Profile (IPP). Reseller & Distributor Management Manage a portfolio of standard resellers (VARs) that proactively pitch Posit to their customers Support transactional “instant resellers” used for RFPs, bid boards, and public sector opportunities. Coordinate with large direct market resellers (i.e- SHI) on high-volume, transactional business while identifying opportunities to expand growth ARR. Partner Enablement & Communication Deliver partner sales enablement, including resources, messaging, and case studies to drive consistent positioning of Posit. Act as the primary communication bridge between partners and Posit sales reps, reducing rep burden and aligning account strategies. Capture and share partner success stories and customer case studies to support GTM initiatives. Marketing & Campaign Support Collaborate on joint marketing campaigns, webinars, and events to build pipeline through partner channels. Support execution of partner-driven campaigns and ensure timely follow-up with sales teams. A Bit About You Partner sales or channel account management experience in enterprise software or data/analytics. Proven track record of achieving or exceeding quota through channel-initiated pipeline. Deep understanding of reseller, distributor, and MSP business models and how to drive joint revenue. Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence both partners and internal stakeholders. Experience prospecting and co-selling with partners, not just managing relationships. Ability to balance transactional reseller work with long-term partner development and growth. This hiring range reflects base salary and assumes that the job will be performed in the United States. This role has an expected 50/50 pay mix.
