JOB SUMMARY The Quality Control Inspector is responsible for the final inspection of the material to verify the customer specifications. Work Ethic: Employee must consistently practice cost saving, production efficiency, improvement, and work enhance. Also, maintain an organized work environment. 3. Compliance with Work Instruction: Work accordingly to the work standards and adhere to the work instructions. 4. Inspection · Reading specifications to ensure that operations meet production standards · Inspecting and testing the materials produced by the company · Using gadgets such as micrometer, digital calipers, measuring tapes to measure products 5. Quality Control · Removing products that don’t meet production standards · Accepting or rejecting finished products and discussing inspection results with the production team · Performing inspections at random to assess product quality 6. Follow Company’s policy · Perform other duties within the employee’s training and skills as directed by Management. 7. Quality Assistance: Perform visual inspections of coils and finished products, reporting any bad condition on the products or coils to the Operator. Help to maintain quality standards by following the operator's directions. 8. Communication: Effective communication with superiors, colleagues in the same department, and related departments is mandatory. POSITION QUALIFICATIONS Competency Statements(s) · Language Skills – Ability to read, analyze, and interpret the common industry, production, and technical documents in English. · Mathematical Skills – Ability to apply basic and some advanced mathematical concepts. · Detail Oriented – Ability to pay attention to detail and a high level of accuracy. · Problem Solving – Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. · Accountability – Ability to accept responsibility and account for his/her actions. SKILLS & ABILITIES Education: High School Diploma Experience: Minimum of 2 years of work experience in a manufacturing or lab environment (preferably steel, and/or regulated industry) preferred. Computer Skills: Advanced proficiency with MS Office Other Skills: Must have strong communication skills, verbal and written. Must have strong mathematical and science calculation skills. Statistical knowledge is a plus. Certifications & Licenses: None
