The Systems Portfolio and Project Management team of the Academic and Student Affairs Division of Innovation and Technology is seeking a creative, customer-focused, solutions-oriented collaborator to join our team. This is a Full Time - temporary role until October 1, 2027 with potential for permanent hire. This team provides project management leadership, change management guidance, and technical documentation to enable the strategic growth of academic and student affairs technology systems that are student-centered and grounded in equity. This team interacts with others at all levels of the organization and enjoys constant variety and challenge. We are looking for a Change & Engagement Project Manager to lead the people-side of change across key strategic initiatives. This role blends project management, organizational change management, and stakeholder engagement to ensure teams successfully adopt new processes, systems, and ways of working. The ideal candidate is an exceptional communicator and relationship-builder who can translate complex changes into clear, actionable strategies that drive adoption and minimize disruption. Throughout the screening process, you will be evaluated based on the demonstration of these qualifications. Demonstrated experience leading change initiatives affecting multiple teams or departments. Interviews and consults with staff and external vendors, reads material, conducts research, and/or uses other methods to become familiar with subject matter to be documented and proactively seeks clarification as necessary. Demonstrated experience developing and delivering end-user documentation, training, or user-enablement content. Conduct change impact assessments, readiness assessments, and stakeholder analyses. Identify potential risks and resistance; create mitigation strategies to improve adoption. Administers core project management functions and processes (e.g. intake & prioritization, discovery, planning, execution, closure and management reporting, etc.). Ability to lead low to medium complex projects. Demonstrated experience using project management tools and methodologies to manage timelines, communication, organization, reporting, and evaluation of projects. Minimum Qualifications: To be considered, your application must demonstrate these minimum qualifications. Bachelor’s Degree in project management, administration, management, marketing, communications, or related field. Relevant experience may substitute for the degree requirement on a year-for-year basis. Four years of progressively responsible, professional experience related to project management. Preferred Qualifications: Certification in change management (Prosci, CCMP, or comparable) Professional work experience in higher education Highly Recommended: Portfolio that illustrates your experience in project management with an emphasis on change management delivery. How We Determine Initial Salary Placement The initial salary placement typically is between the minimum ($77,862) to the range midpoint ($95,377). Placement will generally not exceed the mid-point, based on qualifications, experience, and internal equity.
