Key Responsibilities: • Foster a warm and inviting atmosphere for all residents, serving as the initial contact at the community center. • Create reports detailing the monthly calendar, sign-in sheets, and program activities offered. • Design, produce, and post monthly calendars and weekly flyers to promote activities, distributing them door-to-door throughout the property, including stairs. • Manage program activities, engage volunteers, request donations, and collaborate with community partners. • Maintain logs of communications with volunteers, partners, and donations, submitting reports monthly. • Assist residents by providing information on local resources and support available within the community. • Encourage resident involvement in program planning, assessing additional services or programs needed, and relay their needs to management. • Observe and interact with children, adults, and seniors while monitoring activities. • Keep accurate sign-in sheets for all programs regardless of attendee participation. • Utilize the tax-exempt certificate and number responsibly; manage monthly petty cash and replenish supplies as needed. • Oversee the community center's use, ensuring a clean and organized environment. • Organize and maintain all PRS documentation and materials for easy access by management. • Perform other duties as assigned by management or corporate staff. Qualifications: • Availability to work 1 day per week from 12 PM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday. • Flexibility to work occasional evenings and weekends based on job needs, generally 1-2 times per quarter. • Relevant experience in education, social work, non-profit sectors, or similar fields; volunteer experience is also valuable. • Experience engaging with children, teens, adults, or seniors in various settings. • Capability to work independently while multitasking effectively. • Strong organizational, computer, and administrative skills. • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities. • Familiarity with community and social service resources. • Access to a personal computer, email, and the ability to perform light printing tasks. • Bilingual skills in Spanish are preferred.
