Porter is hiring for a Software Engineer to join the Dev Team! Your Impact at Porter In this position, you will be accountable the development and management of backend services and platforms including but not limited to Database, API, Microservices, and Eventing development and frameworks. This role will work across product teams to develop services to expose business logic, data that can be consumed by both internal and external consumers. What You’ll Need to Make Your Impact 5+ years of software engineering experience 3+ years of experience developing and deploying web and mobile applications on public cloud infrastructure and cloud native services. (AWS, AZURE) Fluent in at least one backend language such as Java, Python Experience with a variety of RDBMS, NoSQL, and NewSQL technologies including but not limited to MongoDB, DataBricks Delta Lake, Postgres. Experience knowledge of containers and orchestration (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes) is preferred. Experience with event-driven architectures with Kafka or other messaging technologies is a plus. Experiencing the implementation, management, and evolution of shared platforms including API Gateway, Service Mesh, Messaging platforms, Application Logging. Experience in designing and building large-scale distributed systems Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering The Ideal Porter Team Member The ideal member of Porter will be a change agent, altering the status quo of healthcare delivery.
