Porter is growing and seeking to add a QA Data Engineer to the Team! The Ideal Porter Team Member The ideal member of Porter will be a change agent, altering the status quo of healthcare delivery. Your Impact at Porter In this position, you will be accountable for the development of our data analytics. Your contributions will directly shape the organizations analytical capabilities, driving innovation, and providing valuable insights that positively influence business outcomes through data-driven decision making. What You’ll Need to Make Your Impact Key Responsibilities: · Design and implement data quality metrics and dashboards for initial data loads and recurring data refreshes. · Write Python scripts to evaluate data quality, generate summary reports, and produce client-ready visualizations. · Build automated data validation pipelines using Databricks and other cloud-based tools. · Collaborate with Customer Success and client-facing teams to deliver clear, actionable data quality insights. · Monitor and troubleshoot data anomalies, ensuring timely resolution and root cause analysis. · Define and enforce data quality rules, thresholds, and governance standards. · Document processes and create reusable templates for data quality reporting. · Support data profiling, cleansing, and enrichment efforts across multiple data sources. Qualifications: · Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or related field. · 3+ years of experience in data quality engineering, data analytics, or data governance. · Strong proficiency in Python for data analysis, reporting, and automation. · Experience with Databricks, including notebooks, Delta Lake, and Spark. · Solid understanding of SQL, data modeling, and ETL processes. · Familiarity with Tableau for dashboard creation. · Healthcare Experience required. · Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate technical findings into business-friendly insights. \n \n Benefits of Working with Porter: · Remote work environment · Medical, dental and vision benefits within 30 days of hire · Paid vacation and holidays · A fun team and special culture
