Porter is growing and seeking to add a Full Stack Engineer to the Team! The Ideal Porter Team Member The ideal member of Porter will be a change agent, altering the status quo of healthcare delivery. Your Impact at Porter As a Full Stack Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing and maintaining web and mobile-web applications and API leveraging modern technologies and AWS managed services. • Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code. • Debug application code and troubleshoot interface software. • Develop and maintain architectures that support the modularization of applications, scalability, performance, and security of applications and application interfaces. • Develop, Test, and Deployment of code. • Document application changes and contributes to updates. What You’ll Need to Make Your Impact Qualifications: Full-Stack Development • Design, develop, and maintain web, mobile-web, and API applications. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end solutions. • Ensure seamless integration between front-end and back-end components. AWS Expertise • Leverage AWS Managed Services, including: o API Gateway: Create, deploy, and manage APIs at scale. o SQS (Simple Queue Service): Decouple components in a distributed system. o SNS (Simple Notification Service): Send notifications. o DynamoDB: Work with a NoSQL database. o Lambda: Implement serverless compute functions. o Secret Manager and KMS: Securely manage sensitive information. o CloudFormation: Define infrastructure as code. o CloudWatch and X-Ray: Monitor and analyze application performance. o IAM (Identity and Access Management): Manage access to AWS resources. Security and Quality • Implement security coding standards. • Validate code using tools such as SonarCloud, Dependabot, and ZAP OWSP. • Ensure compliance with best practices. CI/CD Pipeline • Build and deploy code across Dev, QA, and Production environments. • Optimize CI/CD pipelines for efficiency and reliability. Authentication and Authorization • Use AWS KMS and Secret Manager for secure authentication and authorization. Preferred Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field. • Experience with Salesforce API’s and Athena EHR is a plus. • 5+ years of experience in full-stack development. • Proficiency in Python. • Strong understanding of AWS services. • Familiarity with security best practices. • Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD). • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in an agile environment \n \n Benefits of Working with Porter: · Remote work environment · Medical, dental and vision benefits within 30 days of hire · Paid vacation and holidays · A fun team and special culture
